ARA Review by Eliabli of Moments With You

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

I just finished Moments With You by O’Shan Waters, and I genuinely wasn’t prepared for how much this book would pull me in. It’s one of those stories you start thinking it’s a simple romance, but by the end, you realise it’s so much more. The emotions in this book felt so raw and honest, and I found myself completely invested in the characters’ journeys.

What really stood out to me was how well the author explored cultural expectations and personal identity. The relationship between Chantal-Marie and her mysterious love interest was complicated in the best way. Their connection felt intense and fragile at the same time, and the tension between love, tradition, and self-worth was written so beautifully.

There were moments in this book that honestly broke my heart. I laughed in some chapters, teared up in others, and a few scenes left me speechless. The twists and turns in the plot kept me on my toes, and even when things hurt, I couldn’t stop reading. I appreciated that the story didn’t shy away from difficult emotions and moral dilemmas.

I also really loved how layered the side characters were. Every person in this story felt necessary, adding to the atmosphere and giving more meaning to the main characters’ struggles. It’s one of those rare books where even the quiet, simple moments feel important.

Overall, Moments With You was an emotional, bittersweet, and unforgettable read. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys angsty, deeply emotional love stories with meaning and heart. My rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars.
