ARA Review by juliyeeeet of Burn Zones

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

BURN ZONES: Playing Life’s Bad Hands

This is the kind of book that will hit you through and through, especially if you are that type of person who is eager to be successful in something that you do. The book was written simple but catchy and will make you relate to every endeavor that the character had. The book features the author’s story that is ambitious and likes to succeed in everything. Through his passion and determination at his work, he became successful at a young age.

As you read this book, you will learn that all the positive characteristics and strengths that you have will also be your weakness. As for Jorge, he is a very optimistic person, he would always trust other people around him, and he would always help others. But on the other sides, these things became his weakness as well. Though these weaknesses he got did not stop him, since every hardship or struggles he encounters he would always face it fight until he becomes successful. Everything that Jorge does will always have good fruit. He was delivering a paper at the age of 7, later became an ice cream vendor with his tricycle. The tricycle he was using made his legs strong, turning him into an athlete. He also became a promoter and endorser of a label record and so on. So you see, just like us, people, we tend to learn more things as we grow. When we think we are good at this, then we go to the next one to acquire new knowledge where we are interested.

But of course, like a normal person, his life was not always on the other side of the coin, which is the highlight I might say of his life. He entered the world of social housing or as a real estate broker which was again a new environment for him. Being someone who doesn’t know anything about real estate, it was not a hindrance since he likes learning new things, so he familiarized himself with this field. It was working well for him then suddenly, things went bad and dark. Jorge experienced being so down that he lost everything he had.

This part of the book will teach us that those people who you expected to help you in hard times won’t be there when you needed them. It will make us realize that whatever good thing you did for others, they might not give it back to you. This is what happened to Jorge, he was so down and helpless and no help came when he needed it the most. But then again, it was not something that could stop him from standing up on his feet and start again. It made him strong and a better person. He always finds out what to do or how to solve the problem. Just like in life, we might think that that was the end of everything, but what we need is just a way out, determination, and belief in you.

Therefore, as I have read this book, I would rate it as five out of five (5/5). This a must-read book, well written, simple, and very specific. This will give you hope to not give up on your dreams. This will give you a different view of life. It will make you stronger and makes you think that you are not alone in every battle that you’re facing. It will make you motivated and will push you every time when you think of giving up. It features the reality of life which is not always rainbows and chocolates, but also there is a part where you fall, break down, and helpless even though you are surrounded by so many people.
