The beauty of this book “In It Together – The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All" by Ekhart Aurelius Hughes began revealing itself when I got comfortable with his terminology.

At that point, I began looking at my life and saying, “Hey, this is me. I’ve got to change”. I started looking at how I live my life in a whole new light.

When I realized that this book was really about love, I was sold. I am now trying to do the following in my life: 1. Be honest with myself and let go of self-deceit; 2. Accept the unchangeable; 3. Identify and accept basic truths; 4. Don’t be judgmental of others; 5. Forgive rather than hate or resent others; 6. Don’t idolize my possessions because they are so temporary; 7. Preserve my eternal inner peace by not worrying about discomfort which is only temporary; 8. Embrace the present and don’t worry about idolizing the future; 9. Don’t overcommit, but rather do less but do less well; and 10. Love everything and everybody.

The amazing thing here is that all the above changes are doable. I’m working on them all, and I can already feel my inner peace becoming stronger.

If you want this inner peace and experience love toward everyone and in everything you do, buy this book and apply its wisdom to your life. It will change you for the better.
