ARA Review by Andromeda Flynn of Lusting for Lei

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

Lusting for Lei by P.K. Thomas is a short novel about a soon to be king that develops fantasies about Lei after Lei becomes his servant. Lei is happily married which makes the king jealous as he does not feel love for his soon to be bride, Penelope. He lusts for Lei leading him to show Lei how he really feels for him.

Lei is hesitant but soon gives in to him and allows the passion to unfurl. The king falls in love with Lei but Lei loves his family and only feels lust towards the king. When Penelope finds out what the king has been doing with his servant she exacts vengeance with great cruelty without the king's knowledge.

Will these star crossed lovers find happiness? Must the king marry the cruel Penelope and wish she were Lei for the remainer if his days? Read and find out.

I rate this book 2 out of 5 stars as grammatically errors can be found on every single page. It is clear that the author is not considerably versed in English. It was a very difficult read as rules of tense were scrambled even within the same sentence. This book is a grammatical nightmare.

Lusting for Lei by P.K. Thomas lacks any seductive language despite being an erotic novel. It is very matter-of-fact instead of explorative, sexy, or erotic. The novel's focus is of the mind of the king and how his secret would shame him.
