ARA Review by Privilege M 2 of The Ghoul in the Graveyard

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

The Ghoul in the graveyard: The orphans of the pearl place is a thrilling horror-mystery novel written by Travis Walters that follows the story of eleven year old Sam ,who moves to a new town and discovers a ghoul lurking in the local cemetery. The book is well-written, fast-paced adventure that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

One of the strengths of the book is the characters. Sam is a likable protagonist who is easy to root for throughout the story .The author does a great job of developing his character arc ,as Sam starts off as a timid boy but gradually becomes more confident and brave as he faces the ghoul. The supporting cast of characters is also well written and adds depth to the story.

The plot is another strong point of the book. The mystery surrounding the ghoul and its origins is intriguing, and the author does a great job of building suspense throughout the book. The pinnacle of the story is particularly thrilling and will leave readers satisfied.

However, there are also some negatives to the book . One of the main issues is that the book can be overly predictable at times. Many of the plot twists are easy to see coming, which can make the story feel a bit formulaic.

Additionally, though the book is meant for readers of all ages , some younger readers may find certain sections overly dark or scary. This may limit the target audience slightly, but it does add to the chilling atmosphere that older readers will enjoy.

Overall, the book earns a solid 4 out of 5 as the book successfully combines horror and mystery, providing an engaging reading experience. However, the occasional passing and predictable plot twists prevent it from receiving a perfect rating. Nonetheless, fans of the genre will find the book to be an exciting read .
