ARA Review by Ngozi Ejiofor of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

Personally, I will rate this book a solid 5 out of 5

This book presents an intense message, guiding readers through self-acceptance and positive progress. It explores the unifying power of love, emphasizing the interconnectedness of humanity.

Through a friendly and humorous tone, it weaves together philosophy, spirituality, and self-help, drawing on wisdom from various sources, including notable figures like Jesus, Albert Einstein, Shakespeare, Friedrich Nietzsche, Alan Watts, Rabbi Tina Sobo, Carl Jung, Osho, Sam Harris, Ram Dass, Meister Eckhart, Eckhart Tolle, David J Mauro, Vincent Van Gogh, George Bernard Shaw, Socrates, Voltaire, Voltairine de Cleyre, Dr. Wayne Dyer, René Descartes, Rev. Dr. John Watson but not limited to them and both a prisoner named Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn as well as the man who imprisoned him.

The book's central theme links "self-discipline" and "spiritual freedom," highlighting their inherent connection.
Inspired by the question of the opposite of temptation, the narrative doesn't preach but delivers a compelling message for inner peace and spiritual growth. The diverse quotes from thinkers across time add depth to the universal truths explored in the book.

The reader is left empowered, motivated, and inspired. As the opening letter in the book states, "Stay strong, my friends. There's beauty in the struggle. There's so much to overcome, but imagine what it could mean to overcome it."
