ARA Review by Ndubueze Onyeani of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

## In It Together: A Review of "The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All"

**In It Together** The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All, by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes, is a book that defies easy categorization. It's a blend of philosophy, spirituality, and self-help, all woven together with the unifying thread of love and the shared human experience. Hughes tackles fundamental questions about our existence, but presents them in a relatable, down-to-earth way.

**The Strengths:**

* **Uplifting message:** At its core, **In It Together** is a profoundly optimistic book. Hughes believes that despite our differences, we are all fundamentally connected. This message of unity and shared humanity is especially potent in our often divided world.
* **Accessible writing:** While the book deals with complex concepts, Hughes's writing style is warm, conversational, and often humorous. He avoids jargon and uses relatable anecdotes to illustrate his points. This makes the book accessible to a wide audience, even those not well-versed in philosophy or spirituality.
* **Unique perspective:** Hughes draws on a wide range of sources, from ancient wisdom to modern psychology, to create a unique and insightful perspective on human nature. He encourages readers to question their assumptions and look at the world in new ways.

**Potential drawbacks:**

* **Esoteric at times:** While the book is generally accessible, some sections delve into more esoteric territory, which may be challenging for some readers.
* **Lack of actionable advice:** Hughes provides a broad framework for personal growth and understanding, but the book is not a "how-to" manual. Readers looking for specific steps to take may be disappointed.
* **Repetitive themes:** Some core ideas are emphasized throughout the book, which might feel repetitive to attentive readers.

**Overall:**

**In It Together** is a thought-provoking and inspiring book that offers a fresh perspective on our place in the world. It's a reminder that despite our struggles, we are not alone, and that love and connection are the keys to happiness and fulfillment. While not for everyone, **In It Together** is a worthwhile read for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the universe.

**Recommendation:**

This book would be a good fit for readers who:

* Enjoy philosophical and spiritual discussions.
* Are interested in ideas about human connection and unity.
* Appreciate a positive and hopeful outlook on life.

If someone is looking for a self-help book with actionable advice, this might not be the right choice. However, if someone is open to a mind-expanding journey, IN IT TOGETHER is definitely worth exploring.
I'll rate it; 4 out of 5 stars.
