ARA Review by Yulisandro Bagas Samudra of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

Despite being a good-length book, I sat down and read through this in a single session. There was something about how Hughes broke down the book in a very easily readable way. Much of what is written throughout resonated with my personal life.

Having studied philosophy many years ago, I enjoyed how Hughes challenged how I have traditionally looked at life and made me rethink many different aspects of said thinking. Well, doing this, Hughes also found a way to include some humor.

I found In It Together to be a well-thought-out and thought-provoking book that can meet any reader on their level.

Eckhart Aurelius Hughes takes the concept of life and easily breaks it down so that the reader can take each piece, internalize the information, and make it meaningful. I found that this is a strength of Hughes, as many writers cannot influence their reader's perception in such a way. The more I adventured into the book, the more I contemplated the words I read and how they related to my life.

If you or someone you know has been struggling with finding a way to come to terms with any aspect of their current or past decisions, actions, or experiences, this book will allow you the grace to dive deeper into your thoughts and actions than you ever have before.
