ARA Review by Marco Asad of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

“In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All” by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is a thought-provoking non-fiction book that aims to demonstrate how everyone is united. The book is described as a must-read for those seeking inner peace.

The author’s positive and encouraging attitude is praised by readers, inspiring them to accept themselves with all their flaws and move forward more positively. The book is said to tear the reader apart and put them back together again to have a happier life with more spiritual freedom.

The book explores the uplifting and unifying power of love, of true conscious love, showing that deep down we are truly—and literally—one and the same. It presents the phrases “self-discipline” and “spiritual freedom” as referring to the exact same thing. In the way the book uses the terms, to be “self-disciplined” is to be “free-spirited”, and vice versa.

The book ties together philosophy, spirituality, and self-help with long-standing universal truths from all ages, regions, and times. It includes quotes from a diverse array of philosophers, artists, scientists, and spiritual teachers.

The book was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign run before the book was even written. It was inspired by the question, “What is the opposite of temptation?” The book answers that question and so many more.

Without preaching, the book provides a unifying, loving, and deeply compelling message that paves a path to inner peace, true happiness, and spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-discipline). The reader is left empowered, motivated, and inspired.

In conclusion, “In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All” by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is a profound and inspiring book that encourages readers to embrace their flaws, seek inner peace, and understand the unifying power of love. It is a highly recommended read for those interested in philosophy, spirituality, and self-help. 5/5
