I thought that there were several suspenseful plot segments. To me, the most unforgettable plot segment is Larry's accident and first aid treatment
when he was aboard the Seattle Express and the shocking act of what Travis later did to Larry's hand and boot.

The first sequence where the ship has caught fire and everyone is panicking and no one really knows what to do got my juices flowing and was really fun to read.

I felt the anxiety and dread of having to wait if the rest of his crew was going to be saved. At that point they had no control of either vessel for those few seconds!

The part of the book that was the most nail-bitingly suspenseful for me was when the salvage crew was trying to get a tow line on the Seattle Express and Larry loses his arm and his foot. Wow... When I was reading that section, I just sensed that something really, really bad was about to happen... The whole book held my attention, but I think that part was the most shocking.

The first scene where the Captain wakes up to the smell of smoke is pretty invigorating, but all in all, I'd have to say that the most intense scene was when the tug's crew boarded the boat that was adrift to try to salvage it in high seas. The cables snapping tight and going slack are exactly what happens. Too many things can all go wrong at the same moment.

Oh my! The beginning! Of course, the beginning! Not every book starts with such force but this one did and it was awesome. The ship is burning and they're trying to stay alive! That screams adrenaline rush!
I couldn't even look away from the book for a second all through the first part!

the part that larry's arm and leg were amputated got me very tensed with the fact that larry's life was at stake due to being in the sea where medical was unavailable which it put larry's life in danger

For me, my strongest reaction was Larry's accident. I actually gasped and felt the blood drain from my head. The other scenarios mentioned, I reacted but not as strongly.

Which part of the story raised your adrenaline?
I still think the beginning wins the trophy but damn Larry'd incident was painful and everything went crazy all of a sudden. I was holding my breath reading that.

I think mine was the discovery of Williams. I thought he was dead.

I guess the one that scared me the most was when Myra and her team went to rescue William

The most part that raised my adrenaline was when William was found. I was filled with tension to a point that I thought he was dead only to realise that he wasn't afterall.

I think I am gonna go for the part where William was pictured almost dead by the author, I honestly thought of screaming but thankfully it didn't get down to that.

There were two parts that raised y adrenalin - one I enjoyed and one I didn't. The part I enjoyed but was super nervous about was when Heather went seal hunting. I loved the descriptions and how it felt like I was there watching them. On the flip side, the part where Larry lost his foot was really cringy and way too life-like. I had to pause while reading because of that scene.
