Yes! Open water is terrifying to me. This is a suspenseful story.

I think I would go mad if I got stranded at see... reminds me of those pipes they had at parks when I was little. Can still remember myself thinking I was going to get stuck and die in them :?

Oh no! That must've been awful. I followed my kids through them sometimes...yeesh, tiny! The sea would be the opposite but just as maddening. Too much space, nothing to ground yourself on. (Figuratively speaking. :lol2: ) Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Honestly, nothing scared me. I like a good ride that throws me overboard, and according to the synopsis it did leave me on this effect.

the book concerning monsters are terrible to young readers, even mature people who were not developed emotionally.

It wasn't so much that it scared me, it was more of a 'triggering' thing. Thanks for stopping in and commenting!

The book was definitely intense, and I also share the fear of oceans. That time I had to change my surroundings for a while.

I found it to an enjoyable story to read. I also found to be sad because the story could have been based on a true story for people that sail the sea. I also was glad the book had a happy ending.

Enjoyable, yes, and I'm glad it ended well too. If I consider it from the angle that it could easily have been true, it actually gets a bit more frightening don't you think? Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!

This is a book that I found which is intense enough for me, in a long while

I am terrified of the ocean, even the scientists don't know everything that is in them.

That is so true. I watch the sea documentaries and I fear for those at sea because it is the beginning of the unknown
