I like the idea of re-reading favorite books. A good old Harry Potter always does the trick for me!

Haha you put that so well. "All over the place" describes me too, if you look at my bookshelves! I can go from the horror and fantasy worlds of Matthew Tysz's The Turn and The King of May, to the fascinating theory of the Biblical Clock. I'm still not quite understanding what you all mean by a reading slump, though? I don't think I've ever experienced one!Eclecticmama wrote: ↑10 May 2019, 21:39 I lean more toward thrilling and horror, with a touch of action to get out of a slump. Just something to really scare the pants off me really. After I get through one of those, I run toward a soothing adventure novel if I can, or a fun romantic comedy. I'm all over the place when it comes to my reading!
