The pregnancy and miscarriage happened suddenly. I wasn't expecting it and it actually got more strange that it was kept a secret from Sky the supposed gentlemen to loved Cynthia unconditionally.

Well, I think the author just added it to make the book lengthy because it wasn't necessary for the book.

It didn't have any impact on the story. It was just a waste of time.

I thought the pregnancy and miscarriage plot lines were unnecessary. It had no effect on the characters' relationships.

I found it strange that she kept the pregnancy a secret. She surprised me with that decision. Her miscarriage also came as a surprise to me.

story or take away from it?
I felt the whole pregnancy part of the book was ridiculous. There were too many inconsistencies, and the whole situation didn't add anything to the book. The book would've been better without that part of the storyline.

The entire story of the pregnancy lacked every element of reality. It seemed very off to me. It seemed more like a content to increase the number of book pages.
