Cynthia's character wasn't just flawed, it was shallow.

The first pages of the book was a big turn off on her character. How can you tell a total stranger your secrets, considering the kind of job you're into. Secondly, trusting this total stranger sky with her car was weird too. Thirdly, getting drunk and having intimate sex with someone you met a couple hours ago was a big turn off lol.
I expected her character to be more reserved lol

Like everyone, Cynthia's character isn't without her flaws. I iked her because she's a professional and a good leader. On a personal note, I didn't like it when she cheated on Dan and made it seem like he was the problem.

Aside the cheating aspect and how she desperately wanted to mess her relationship with than just because she met a rich stranger, I couldn't put up with her naivety. Like she acted like she was from the moon when sky talked about preventing a pregnancy. I really did not like her character.

Cynthia's character was a good, string, and independent woman. I found it odd that she would go home with a total stranger. That didn't seem like a thing her character would do.

I agree that the other characters lacked depth. Sky had the potential to be a great character, and despite his lack of depth, I liked Glenn's character on the surface.

Although she was flawed, her flaws make her wjo she is. I felt sad for her at time because the author was careless with his writing.

Giving her high social standing, I expected her to be more meticulous and careful with her personal details. I was utterly disappointed at her when she just gave a run down of her house address and car details to sky the very first day they met.

You and I both agree. I was particularly concerned by the cheating part since it sounded like the author was trying to defend it. Cynthia was just the person who needed to be saved by others throughout most of the narrative, in my opinion. I found it difficult to empathize with her.

I felt like Cynthia wasn't written as a modern young woman. I'm a woman in my 20s in politics and she felt like an older woman trying to write a young one. Ultimately, her opinions on marriage and oblivion to the dangers of going home with a stranger do not fit the mindset of a young woman in the present day. It's not supposed to be realistic, but this really felt like an impression of young people not an actual young person who can exist.

I agree, the other characters lacked depth a well. I think Sky had the potential to be a great character and I did enjoy Glenn's character at surface value despite lacking much depth

I see Cynthia as an amazing character regarding her strength and devotion towards her job but the cheating and behavior towards Dan was absurd and it never favored her character

Very naive and frustrating, especially considering the nature of her Job. I wouldn't say i liked her character, but I must confess that I had pity on her.
