Did Cynthia meet your expectations?

Post by Samuel Songs »

Cynthia was initially depicted as a character who is strong and independent, for her to have that kind of job. In anticipation for what she would do, I expected nothing short of a modern warlord of a woman. But I didn't get to see that of her. She didn't meet the kind of character I was anticipating.

What is your opinion on this? Did she meet your expectations?

Honestly, the answer to this question has been lurking in my mind since I finished the book. The character of Cynthia didn't meet my expectations at all! I was expecting a sophisticated individual who thinks thoroughly before she acts. I didn't see that at all in her.

This is especially when it comes to her relationship with Sky. I honestly did not expect that she would easily be swayed my a mysterious man whom she knew absolutely nothing about. What if he was a security threat, or a spy?

I know we find love in the most unusual places and in the situations we didn't expect, but I still expected for it to linger before she gives in whole heartedly. It was as if security was the last of her considerations when it came to that aspect of her life.

She did, indeed. She was devoted to her work and balanced it with her personal life.

Honestly, I loved how the author weaves in characters and makes it match his story line. The only issue I had was how the author couldn't throw more live on the Dan character. It wasn't worth mentioning on the book title.

Cynthia met my expectations, honestly, a lady with such strong will in a world filled with horrible events. I give it to her for being a strong woman.

She did but I found her flaky when it came to relationships. The author wrote her badly, I didn't believe it when she went with Sky.

Sadly, Cynthia did not meet my expectations especially, in the aspect of how she handled her relationships with Shy and Dan.

She did not come close to my expectation, I find her way too naive.
