It seems as though reading that title may not attract some of the readers attention just because the title itself is portrayed in a unique way, but I can see what the title was going for. It's just not completely there yet.

I haven't read it yet but i think the first interpretation is more accurate.

When I first read the title, I was sure the book was going to be about Christianity, as it is basically the quote from the Old Testament.
To be honest, I didn't like it. To me, it seems like the author was already implying that only those who follow Christianity are worthy to be chosen. I haven't read the book, though, so I cannot tell if this is what it actually says, but this is the impression the title gives me.

Without getting into politics . . . the title reminds me of "Let's Make America Great Again"

I think the title suitably suits the book, being about old testament and this are some words that God told Abraham. I think it's a good choice it goes with the theme of the book.

I don't think the title fits. At first glance, it seems to be a history book that going to tell readers how the nation came to be what it is today.

It's taken from God's promise to Abraham for spreading his faith in a strange land. I think it's quite appropriate since it all comes down to worshiping God and obeying God's will.

This is my take on it as well. It's not unsuitable to give a quote from the Bible as title to a religiously themed book, but it often seems to be the case that a grand title raises expectations in a way that makes the rest of the book seem like a bit of a letdown.

Based on the content in the book, I think the title well fits the book.

I didn't realize the book was about teachings from the Old Testament until I read the description.

The title is a bit misleading as it doesn't convey the intent of the book well. I agree the book could use a better title.

I think you make an important point. On the one hand, it can make it can raise controversy, and we need less religious conflict, not more. And on the other, a more reader-friendly title that showcased what the book is about could attract a broader audience.

I agree, the second version is worrisome. And the title could have been better thought out but I have no thoughts for a better one.
Any suggestions?
