In the OT stories, my favourite personality is King Solomon who asks for the gift of wisdom.

I lovef Lucifer's character, at a crazy level you could see him making sense and just not being mindlessly evil. That is why I am always intrigued by his stories.

I like Joseph because even though he was misunderstood and mistreated by his family, sold as a slave in a foreign country, accused falsely, and sent to prison, he kept a good attitude and succeeded wherever he was and in whatever circumstance that happened to him. He believed that God could use all the bad things to accomplish good.
I like the story of david; a shepherd who beats an unbeatable foe and goes on to become a King. He had a lot of flaws but cowardice was never one of them.

Yeah, Joseph is a great character. If not that the Bible was written, nobody would believe that Joseph didn't rape Potiphar's wife. However, my best character is David. This guy killed a lion and a bear as a young lad. Man! He hadn't even been anointed yet when he did that. And he desired God so much.

I must say Joseph. He sold into slavers. He became a better person. He did good.

I like Joseph as a favourite character because he went through a lot and he still kept his faith, even in the face of his brothers' betrayal.

Joseph has always been a favorite of mine because apart from Job, I can't think of another Bible character who went through so much heartache and tribulation and still kept on keeping on. Strength of character for the win. :)

This would be repititive, but I have a soft spot for Joseph. I don't think I can be kind and forgiving as him. But I hope I would learn to be like him in terms of attitude. He inspired me to move forward even though bad things kept on happening to me.

My favorite is King David. He is cited as "a man after God's own heart." Then he committed adultery with Bathsheba and also had her husband killed. The reason I like David is because even though he was a man God favored he still messed up. God punished him harshly but never stopped loving him. And David never stopped praising God after that. David was human just like me and his life shows me God will forgive any transgression I commit, and will be able to continue to use me in His service when I repent. I think if is a beautiful story!

I love Joseph’s story! I am also inspired by Abraham’s story because he trusted God to lead him and take care of his family even when the destination wasn’t clear. His story reminds me to keep following where God leads me in my own life even when it’s not clear where to go or what to do.

My favorite is Joseph. He has the most important sort of courage -- to endure, have hope, do the best possible in the situation where you find yourself, and always be kind.
