I would argue that even with Fate Sealers and Fortune Tellers, Echoland presents more adventure as a land.

I agree with you that Echoland is more of a dystopia. It would be interesting to see how William changes things after he becomes king. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for a sequel!Tomah wrote: ↑01 Sep 2019, 13:39 Echoland seems like a bit of a dystopia, honestly, if you consider the Fate Sealers and Fortune Tellers. Of course, things will likely change with William as king, so I wouldn't mind visiting the place after things calm down. Still, Olám Shonè is the clear winner for me since you get to interact with Echoes without any looming threats or ridiculous laws.

Echoland holds the promise of adventure and intrigue more than Olám Shoné and I would definitely brave the Fate Sealers.Rachel Lea wrote: ↑17 Sep 2019, 18:43I agree with you that Echoland is more of a dystopia. I agree with your assessment of Echoland and I would prefer it to Olám Shoné.

I would argue that we dont know that for sure! We only caught the smallest glimpse of olam shone. It seemed much more peaceful, but lack of danger doesnt necessarily equate to lack of adventure!Ferdinand_otieno wrote: ↑17 Sep 2019, 11:02Even with that, Echoland presents more of an adventurous opportunity than Olam Shone.

It was a land meant to be a refuge to all half-breeds, so I will hope that the lack of adventure is personal to each individual.Kro92813 wrote: ↑18 Sep 2019, 20:08I would argue that we dont know that for sure! Olám Shoné is quite safe from Fate Sealers and other Echoes who have bias against half-breeds, Sounds, and other Echoes. The only problem is the difficulty in getting to Olám Shoné-which is actually the reason it is quite safe.

And just the fact it seemed so much more peaceful! My younger self may have thrives in Echoland, but my more mature Momma side would rather relax in a serendipitous place

Perfectly said. A younger adventurous version of me would love Echoland, while the mature peaceful side of me would thrive most in Olám Shoné.

Echoland with William as King would be an amazing dystopian wonderland to explore. It would be too tempting and prevent me from selecting another land.Rachel Lea wrote: ↑17 Sep 2019, 18:43I agree with you that Echoland is more of a dystopia. But with William as King, Echoland will have both adventure and relative safety.
