Victor Valorian was able to kill the King, ruin the King's name and prevent William from succeeding him, and plot to rule over him when William seemed to be the better choice between him and his deranged uncle.
I agree. Victor Valorian was a charming, deluded and extremely cunning villain. He managed to deceive the prince and Will and all of echoland and would have almost succeeded.
If it wernt for those meddling kids! :lol2:

Perfect ending for that classic line.

He was too dangerous to let him become William's chief advisor. He would have probably deposed William or killed him to take the throne.

I originally had said the fate sealers because they are just creepy, but they were just mindlessly following orders and their love of fear and death.

I'm changing my mind to valerian because he was so sneaky and coniving

Yes, he was so charming and underhanded that no one suspected him of killing the previous King, William's father.

I never trusted him from the beginning, so I wasnt surprised he did it, but his evil deeds were so calculated for his personal gain.

The fate sealers couldnt help who they became. It's sad really because they were a product of the environment they were "raised" in

True that fate sealers were originally victims as a child, but after growing up they were responsible for their own antagonistic actions.

Fate Sealers are the best villain because they were so strange and scary. They were Echoes who were tortured, and now they hurt others.

Imagine, though, being tortured the first 16 years of your life! No one could possibly come out normal after that.

I think the Legend of the Seeker had such characters.

Fate Sealers where controllable and that removes them from contention.
They were the best as far as being creepy and physically murderous. There were def others more coniving though and evil behind the scenes

No, I mean characters who were programed to laugh at pain and torture and to enjoy it.

It's very sad indeed, because you think if what they could have been if it wernt for their circumstances
