I feel like there is no way I would climb on a giant bird! Haha horses are enough of a thrill for me 🤣
I feel quite the opposite, there's no way I would pass up that ride on an Albatross. I would probably be packed and ready before it touched down.
Maybe you could convince me if there was s harness, but valerie just hopes on bare back!
Yes, someone who shares my spirit.

O think you are right about their relationships. Wills goal with Wolfea was to give her a better life and eventually set her free. They didnt really get the chance to become close
I agree that Will and Wolfea never really got thhe chance to become close.
Which was kind of nice that Will didnt try to change who wolfea was, he just wa ted better for her
Is it wrong to think this was a better mentality in getting a pet?

More than likely to the prince since he is where their allegiance lies. But I'm sure will grew on them after 10 years! If not that would be one miserable job...
The job was to shadow the prince's sound n a realm where Fate Sealers rarely visited...it must have been a va ation more like, except for inhabiting animal corpses and all.
And the fact they were slowly dieing inside the pets
That was very creepy when I read it.

I dont think so! Some animals are just not meant to be pets. And taking them out of the environment they are meant to be in seems almost cruel

I love Poudini, but I am full on adventure-mode most of the time and the Wandering Albatross would be my dream pet.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could have two? One for the quiet times, and one for adventures. :D

In such a case, then I would select two pets, Poudini and the Wandering Albatross.

I've always been a fan of the wild and untamed so I guess the closest to that would be Wolfea

Overall, I really liked all of the pets within the story. The really helped the reader understand the characters more and also helped distinguish their traits.

For sure with Wolfea and possibly even the albatross. It was a wild animal too and was domesticated by valerie

I didn't connect that as I read, but it seems a handful have come to the same conclusion! I just thought they were nice companions
