The best pet in the story?

Post by Ferdinand_Otieno »

From the selection of pets in Echoland-Wolfeá and those of the wild, insects, or a wandering Albertross of the echo and Sound kind- which would you prefer for yourself?

I would choose Wolfeá! I like the way she helped Will in his quest.

I am a bit partial to Valerie Valorian's pet, the Wandering Albatross, mainly because it would feel awesome to fly wherever I want.

I did like Wolfeá, but I always wondered how she came from Olám Shoné to Echoland since Olám Shoné was her original home.

I'm morbidly curious to know what having a pet cockroach, as Damian first suggested, would be like, but I think I would stick with a dog as the safe choice. Flying around on a Wandering Albatross does sound interesting though.

Of the pets in the story, I would definitely choose Poudini, but I am a dog person in general. (See avatar--->)

But if given the choice, I would probably choose one of the tame pets because I think it's best to let wild animals remain animals. I might also be very inclined to choosing a rat (they are super smart) or a bunny rabbit just because they are so cute.

A dog like Peter's would be an interesting choice for a pet.

Poudini is an excellent choice for a pet. I was disheartened to read about the journey Wolfeá had in Will's care. She lost her freedom to be wild, was constantly in danger from the Keeper, echoes, and Fate Sealers, and she basically got chained outside to the elements.

I love Wolfeá, I would definitely have chosen Wolfeá for myself. Although can I just say I for one am glad Will did not pick a cockroach!! They are my worst nightmare.

Poudini was an excellent pet to Peter to his very end.

Wolfeá was an excellent pet despite being forcibly domesticated and being far from her family.

Puodini was an excellent pet despite the result of his adventure in the book.
