Cauliflower, duh.
I ended up getting it last night, thank you!

You could take a lesson in being a little less condescending though ;)
Well said, and noted....sorry.

I thought it was funny when the boys were in the library and the boy in the wheelchair puts the fate dealers to sleep with his storytelling

It was also funny when will met dea and Damian for the first time and dea says you never wondered why your wolf was a vegetarian?"

It was funny when Will realized the wolf that followed him around for five years had not only been a vegetarian, but had been an Echo (a magical creature to him at the time).

There weren't many funny points in this but I think my favorite was definitely the part where Emmy challenged anyone who thought Will's disguise looked like her. First chuckle I ever had reading a book.

Imagine the shock and confusion you would have though, after a decade of having a pet then having them turn into a person. Kinda creepy!

I loved some of the humor in the library such as the book instead of being War of the Roses was changed to War of the Noses. And then later Will picks up a book about earthworms and it’s moving like a worm in his hands. The title of this was funny as well..Irresistible Tales to Worm Your Heart. I love play on words, and I found these to be much needed lightness to this rather intense book.
Everything happens for a reason...

Peter brought a lot of humor to the story. He is such an enthusiastic, charming character. I found myself chuckling in several of the scenes where he offered his unique viewpoint.

Poudini had me laughing out loud! I had to pause the audiobook because I was laughing so hard.

Several places I found to be funny. Firstly, the mystery behind disappearance of individuals. Nobody can tell what really happens only that some evidence of torture, bloodstains, fallen shoes and struggles.

Secondly, the way the author explains and compares events, items and actions. For instance, the say, 'the bird seemed to raise its eyebrows.'

I wouldn't say there were any laugh out loud moments for me when I was reading this book, but the dry humor throughout put a smile on my face. :)

In the part where they're eating and the bubbles are floating about, I found that sampling a bubble and finding out Echo flavors differ so much was funny.

Daisy May wrote: 17 Sep 2019, 16:04 One of my favorite scenes was when everyone at the orphanage thought Will might be the prince’s sound and Emmy’s twin. I laughed when Emmy stood up and gave her speech and challenged anyone to say she looked like Will in his puffy faced-disguise. I wish Emmy would have had a bigger role in the story.
I loved this part as well!
