I'm planning on reading The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher :)

I also read Dead Voices. I think it's absolutely safe to call her one of my must-read authors now. 8)

My go to for horror is Anne Rice (specifically the novels in the Mayfair Witches or the Vampire Chronicles). Enough to build suspense without making me dread reading books at night. Does anyone know of any other authors that have that balance?
