I chose tracking as well, but now that you've mentioned it, I think it is. I am learning Japanese now and I can truly say it is difficult for me. So maybe learning languages quickly would be a great idea. Also, they say when learning a new language, it increases your memory and uses your full brain capacity.AntoineOMEGA wrote: ↑10 Oct 2019, 08:42 Tracking would be a cool skill to have but I think being able to learn languages quickly would be more useful.

Same here! I love her adaptability and her tracking skills! While doing fieldwork, I think I especially need this.Kansas City Teacher wrote: ↑06 Oct 2019, 07:15 I would love to be Sarah. She is quite the unexpected surprise, and she can blend in everywhere very easily.

As an introvert, I guess I do need this as well as I am anxious every time I meet and talk with people. Glad to see you mentioned this since most of the replies talk about Cook's ability to learn languages fast.

I know how it is for an introvert to break out of the shell because I have been there, so I know the worth of the skill. But I will say you are wonderful the way you are and you can always be what you want to be.briellejee wrote: ↑18 Oct 2019, 00:58As an introvert, I guess I do need this as well as I am anxious every time I meet and talk with people. Yeah Johnny really knows how to make the best of a bad situation. I was really impressed how he earned his respect among his kidnappers and the bandit chief gave him the book to learn the Malayan language.

I love his sense of humor he’s put in place. Imagine a car struggling and groaning. This must be a person or an animal. Writing is an art and one has to know how to capture reader’s attention. Greg has done this from the first page to the last. His choice of words also is a bonus. Language used also is tender in a manner that anyone can follow through without difficulties.
