The book was, generally speaking, good, although the romantic side of it was quite childish in my opinion.

I have been considering the book but don't really understand what the plot is exactly...is it an adventure story?

What are the positive things about the book?

And negative?

This can be easily read as a standalone book. The character descriptions and background is enough to understand the plot and premise.

Skills of the Warramunga is a third sequel of a series. It is an interesting piece. Kater with his plot and the characters brought to live a tasty adventure in the book. I enjoyed it. I will give a 4 out of 4 rating.

This book I give it a perfect score. Greg Mater's style of writing is filled with humour all the while developing the plot. Very genius.

So, yeah. Forgot to update here once I was done.
I wrote a review on it and my final rating on it was 2 out of 4 stars.
It was an interesting story, interesting plot, but it needed some more work, in my opinion, to become better.

I believe I scored it 3 out of 4, but I agree with you that, as the third volume of the series, the characters, or maybe the author was a bit tired.
