I am currently reading it and it is really quite a treat of a thriller story. Jamie, Jacko and his sister Sarah are trying to find kidnapped MI6 agent and their friend Johnny Cook in the Malayan jungle. I like how the author introduces the words from different languages to the reader, that even he/she learns them. So far, I have finished half of the story and it really runs smoothly!

Being a fan of historical novels I really enjoyed the book. The series of adventures are captivating, I'd give it a perfect score.

I've read the other Warramunga books and really enjoy this author's style of writing. They're always action packed and full of adventure with the added historical aspect. Great

I have finished reading this book and wrote the review just yesterday. I quite enjoyed it and rated it 3 out of 4. However, certain things, beside some grammar errors, were not to my liking. Jacko and Sarah are great at tracking but I believe that the author didn't describe it quite realistically. It seems too easy, in my opinion. And side characters are too less elaborated or I felt like they are presented as completely useless.

I enjoyed the unrelated antagonistic events throughout the story and how they were connected. It is a historical fiction read that's worthy of the perfect score.
Feeling upset sometimes may be unavoidable, but acting distressed is always optional.

I jus finish reading and it was hard for me to put it down at times. I kind of saw the ending that was coming and would have done some things differently; but overall I did like it.

I'm not interested in this book. Sci -fi holds little appeal to me.

The Waramunga stories look more interesting now that I have sampled at least two of them. They are about a part of history I haven't studied much: the years just after WWII. Don't know if or when I'll get back to them. I just don't know how I can keep reading one of the BOTM stories when I keep sampling more stories for the BOTD giveaways. It is tiring to read on an electronic device compared to reading a printed book.

Skills of the Waramungas and the other Waramunga story whose title I can't remember looked too long to try and read on an electronic device to do a book review on it, but the series does look interesting, especially since I'm interested in history and historical fiction. I've gotten a little familiar with a few of the British intelligence terms and service agency names from a few different sources.

I would give this book 3 out of 4 stars. There were some typos that were very noticeable. Also, this book is the 3rd in a series and there are parts of the storyline that were explained in the previous books. The author left you hanging on these plot lines in this book.

The Warramunga's War by Greg Kater :techie-studyinggray:
Rating: 3 out of 4.

This is not just a book about war and spies - no, this is a book about patriotism, intrigues, friendship, and betrayal. I definitely continued thinking about the story long after finishing it.

I have read a book written by Greg Krater and I honestly found it uninteresting. however the comments this book might lead me in reading it.
