I liked the siblings Jacko and Sarah. I love their dynamics, their closeness and of course their skill. They are also funny.

Sarah was definitely my favourite character! I loved how feisty she was and her tracking skills were super cool. I wish there was more of her in the book

This is a no brainer for me.

It's definitely Sarah, Jack-O's half-sister. I have really bad bearing. With this in mind, I hugely admired and ultimately fell in love with her tracking skills.

what would you do with such high level tracking skills?

Sarah! Jacko's half-sister. Her tracking abilities are incredibly delightful to follow! What a nice way to build a strong female character.

For me, that would be Sarah. She has such a strong personality, and strong female characters always hook me to a story. Her tracking skills stood out.

My favorite was Sarah with her skills to wade the jungle like a ghost. I loved that the author portrayed her as a happy-go-lucky character who found no situation too difficult for her young self.

For me both the Aborigine siblings are favorite characters. Jacko and Sarah are just so likable and humble, that I absolutely love them.

Ferdinand_otieno wrote: 02 Oct 2019, 00:00 The book has a lot of diverse characters with unique skill sets and personalities, from Jack O'brien, Jamie Munro, Sarah, Pieter de Groote, to Johnny Cook. Who was your favorite character in the story?

For me, Colonel Johnny Cook was my favorite character. Despite getting kidnapped into the Malay jungle, he had this poise and adaptability that made me forget more than one that he was being held against his wishes. I enjoyed his perspective throughout the book and how easy he made friends.
What about you?
For me l loved the characters of Jack, Jimmy and Sarah that they were always ready to help with their skills no matter what they wanted to do in their lives.
