War is hell and that is probably the only truth, the only objectivity. A conflict in which everyone loses.

I've only heard about the vietnam war from older people, and the details were blurry because I wasn't really paying attention. I think we are a lucky generation to only read about war. From the tales of the Vietnam war, it is easy to be appreciative of our modern society

This story strongly strengthened my view that wars are futile. Other ways of resolving disputes (dialogue for instance) must be embraced by all.
