Lolz.. Exactly my thought. I felt the author chose to write this way to help keep readers imaginations active.

This is definitely a mild romance book considering the lack of connection between Tom and Kelly in there marriage. Nevertheless i love the bond and relationship between Steve and Sharon.

I found Sharon and Steve's relationship to be my favourite. I think theirs where more romantic than even Tom and Kelly who were already married couples.
