I really can not pin point a character as my favourite, but looking closely, I'll go with Sharon and Agatha. Those two ladies are strong, funny, and their character was really well developed.

The favorite part is the Sharon an Steve relationship. The more romantic a book is, the more interesting for me.

I have to confess I am very partial to happy endings. With that said, I liked how all threads were nicely closed in this book. On the other hand, I did not like the characterization. I felt that the characters lacked depth and believability.

My favorite feature of this story is that it was well-researched. Scientific terms aren't thrown around but have explanations and references.

Looks like my worst part is your favorite. I didn't like the cold love affair between the two, it's too fictional. I loved the theming of the book and overall flaw of the story, though the "good against evil" mentally is way too exhausted.

I liked the television interview between Henry and Dr. Kinney. I never knew much about solar flares or EMP. I looked into it a little more after reading the book and found it to be a real threat to our country. My least favorite part is lots of things seemed unrealistic...like a character's reaction or other character's lack of knowledge.

One of my favorite parts was the one where Sharon start singing: "There’s a frog on a bump on a log in a hole in the bottom of the sea," and then everybody joined. That was hilarious 😄

I liked when General Lee convinced Dear Leader that he was holding the controls for the EMP devices, even though they were fakes. I also enjoyed when Dear Leader was shown as not knowing his geography. These humorous moments brought in a lighter mood that wasn't present much in the book.

I liked how the different characters worked as a team to put the pieces together and take down the terrorist plot. The Harbinger show was probably my least favorite part because, although the information was relevant, this scene didn’t tie into the book as smoothly as the other parts of the book.

I posted before saying my least favorite part was the TV show segment. Though, I really liked that part, it just doesn't fit in with the story. That's why it's my least favorite, it felt random. Though, I'd love a book based on the Dr. and those scenarios discussed.

I have not read this book yet, but based on your favorite part, it seems like a nice love story to give a try.

My most favorite part is the Sue Rhee Lin's experiences while trying to pass as a tourist.
Least favorite is the ease with which team USA thwart the terrorist.

Ferdinand_otieno wrote: 01 Dec 2019, 03:23 The story has a lot of favorite parts and some that I liked least. For me, my favorite part was Sharon and Steve developing relationship despite their frosted and mistrustful meeting. The part I liked least in the story was the characterization of the terrorrist leader as initially intelligent and psychopathic but then turns around to timid and fearful.
What about you, what were your favourite and least favorite parts of the story?
I didn't notice most of the things you noticed. However, my favorite part is how the terrorist leader was kind of humbled by Steve. No matter how tough and bossy ladies are, they have a weakness.

My favorite aspect to the book was being able to know both sides of the equation as far as what the terrorists were planning and the work of the US team to stop them. My least favorite was the non-depth to the characters. It didn’t feel real to me at all. An attack is about to happen and it didn’t feel suspenseful at all. The most suspenseful was the beginning and Kelly wandering into a tourist shop
and stumbling into the situation. It went down quickly from there.
Everything happens for a reason...

The fallen terrorist leader is my favorite scene. I actually dislike romance because of the experience I have with it.
