This was a good story but I never felt a strong connection to any of the characters. I think they were developed well - I just didn't identify with them

I would say Steve, though no character was developed enough to permeate into my mind and stay there.

None of the characters were particularly interesting, but I generally enjoyed the parts involving Su-jin, and DL's second in command Lee. These parts felt a lot more grounded and in line with the seriousness of the novel's overall concept. While Team USA were quite goofy and felt like they stumbled into the plot by accident, the terrorist characters were carrying out the plot because of their own actual motivations and beliefs in what they were doing, so they came across as slightly better characterised than the cookie cutter Team USA characters

I think all the characters lacked development which made it very difficult for me to connect with them. I don't have a favorite character, but I found Steve a bit bearable.

I personally liked Steve. He brought the story to live and his sense of humour was really likable.

My favorite character was Sue-Rhee-Jin. She accurately portrayed the culture shock which many people feel when they move to the west for the first time. Also, she was a focused character, so I liked her. If only she wasn't on the wrong side.

My favorite character was Steve. I liked Steve's character. His patriotism, strength and bravery in facing the terrorism threat was amazing. He kept the story flowing.

I agree with you. Steve Spalding was my favorite character. I found him extremely fascinating. And his dialogues with Sharon were just something else. He was so witty and sharp.

I have two favorite characters Steve was very easy going, smart and intelligent. I also loved Sharon she was jovial. Both had so much much in common and they will definitely make great partners.
