Favorite character in the story?

The author wrote many interesting and varied characters in the story. For me, I liked Steve Spalding as a character. I liked his patriotism and bravery in facing the terrorism threat. I also loved his growth throughout the story, especially his interaction with Sharon.
Who was your favorite character in the story and why?

No one really stood out for me. Tom and Steve had their moments. I wish Agatha, Sharon, and Kelly had stronger personalities. There was too much giggling for my liking. It just didn't fit into the storyline. I did like how antagonists were written.

Sharon was my favorite character. She had spunk and went at everything she did full-throttle! If I needed a bodyguard she is the one I would want! I don't know if I could ride in a car with her though! :eusa-pray: :)

Steve was my favorite character. I loved his wit and that the others seemed to have direction after he showed up.

Exactly! I am hooked to read the book because of him. It seems that sometimes he overthrows the main character.

Oh yeah, definitely. I think Kelly was supposed to be the main character but after Steve showed up, she kind of became a back character. I'd read more books with Steve as the main character lol

I was generally nonplussed by the character development in the story. Part of this, I think, is a problem because I used an audiobook instead of a text, and therefore I remember few details of the characters. However, they seemed underdeveloped. Above, someone mentioned too much giggling. In another strand, there was a post talking about how the married couple hardly seemed to know each other. There didn't need t be huge character development to move the story along, but the lack of developed characters is what mostly led me to give the book three stars instead of four.

I didn't find any particular character standing out, each had a role to play and make the book successful.

To be honest, none of the characters seemed to stand out for me. If I had to choose a favorite, I would say it is Steve. He was brave and gave a sense of direction to others.

Sharon was a great character in the book! I enjoyed reading about Sharon very much. If I needed a bodyguard, I would choose her as well.

I think the story focuses more on plot than character development. Most of the characters are a bit underdeveloped. That being said, I like Steve the most. He's a smart and strong leader, and I liked his relationship with Sharon.

I kind of felt like most of the characters were a bit flat. I would have liked to see Kelly's character developed a bit more into a stronger lead. She kind of felt like a damsel in distress at times, imo.

Exactly what I was feeling about her. I wish for a stronger female lead too.
