It was probably placed too early in the novel, since it basically told the reader absolutely everything about the plot at a very early stage. Other than that, it was probably my favourite part of the book, the conversation flowed well, and the science was easy to understand, immersive, and was written convincingly

I enjoyed the link for readers to find out more about CME and the NASA photo. That was unique.

Did you enjoy this section? Does it feel like it belongs in the book? Do you think it seems random?
I thought the professor would have a significant role to play in the book since he had so much knowledge. That section did feel unnecessary. It was only meant to give an idea to the reader about what EMP is, but I think the author could have used another method to give that information.

I agree with you. Thanks for the comment.

Yeah. I do also like the character of Dr. Kim. It was disappointing how his character was not discussed later on. The whole focus was shifted to the war side of the story. I would have loved to read about what happened with Dr.Kim. Was he able to escape or was finally captured by the enemy. I would have loved to read a few lines about him enjoying time with his family.

I enjoyed this section, but the book would have been complete without it too.

Henry Harbinger's part was educative but in my opinion, had nothing to do with this novel and was a digression from the actual topic.

I like the section too and I feel the character of Dr. Kinney was dropped too, he should have been developed on

I really did not enjoy that section it appeared so sudden and it was so off and had almost nothing relating to the story. I learnt a lot from the interview but it needed more background information so it could properly fit into the story.

I would've loved to read a story more closely related to this specific section since the idea is quite interesting. It does feel kind of a random addition to the novel though.

This section provided some necessary background and accelerated the plot perfectly.
