I agree with the subject under discussion. It felt as though the training the terrorist has was just not worth it.

your observations were very right. It felt as though the terrorist group was not even tough. The security agents had almost no challenge tracking them down. The author should have improved in that aspect.

I think I understand your point and I kinda agree with you, there wasn't much suspense in that direction

I so much agree with you. The author made the investigation very easy for the security agents. They experienced almost no difficulty tracking down the terrorist.

Definitely. The antagonists were quite incompetent, and the heroes scored easy wins through convenient circumstances. What sort of elite agent would leave a phone just lying around in their secret base, allowing anyone access to the computer?

I believe that although the terrorists were trained, Team USA were not just ordinary individuals but are also trained in that field. This helped them recognize the actions of the terrorists.

Do you think the author created a soft spot or quick alienation of the terrorist group by the Team USA?
For me, I think the author did. These terrorist group are quite well trained and the author was supposed to created some suspense in that direction.
I definitely thought so too! I thought the book lacked a sense of suspense because there was no real danger. We never feel that danger, hence this book is not really an action book.

That's true, and that's because they couldn't find the phone later on and didn't question it

melissy370 wrote: 06 Dec 2019, 15:34 Totally agree with you. Everything seemed to fall into place too easily for Team USA. The terrorists did not come off as the smartest ones in the book. For me, this was the weakest part of the story.
Yes thank you! There was no suspense, there was no risk, and there was no romance! Those were all key elements in the story and were forgotten!

I don't think that it is a soft spot for Team USA because they work on the mistakes of their enemies.

I don't think so, maybe there's not much suspense around team USA, but it was still a good book

You are every correct. These were my thoughts.
