That's a good point. Technology has done a lot to help improve people's lives. It's a shame people use technology to hurt rather than help.lucia_kizas wrote: ↑27 Dec 2019, 11:13 There will always be somebody who uses one or another invention for wrong purposes, but that doesn't mean that technology as such is a bad thing. Without it, we would have no modern hospitals, fewer crimes would be solved, etc. The technology as such is not evil, the people who create and use it might be, though.

I doubt that there's a better way to put it than this. I totally agree with you because if the world had only people who want only good, there would definitely be no mention of bad technology.lucia_kizas wrote: ↑27 Dec 2019, 11:13 There will always be somebody who uses one or another invention for wrong purposes, but that doesn't mean that technology as such is a bad thing. Yes, I absolutely agree with you on that. It is about balance and technology can be used for terrible purposes, such as in nuclear weapons.amandathebibliophile wrote: ↑04 Jan 2020, 19:20 Technology is definitely a blessing and a curse. Like everything in life, it’s about balance 🧘♀️ On a larger scale however, it is definitely scary to reflect on the potentially dangerous ways in which it can be used.

I think that there is always danger with technology. I think Dr. Peter's ideas were valid on many counts. I worked on some information several years ago that discussed the dangers of an EMP on the electric grid. It was an interesting task with many different viewpoints. I have to say I really didn't like the interview or many of the dialogues in this book series.Nerea wrote: ↑26 Dec 2019, 05:32 Technology has been a blessing to us all. But based on the sentiments shared in the interview between Henry and Dr. Peter it sounds like we have been exposed to danger. Do you think Dr. Peter's ideas about the dangers of technology might be a reality today? Or what's your take about the interview?
