I too was surprised to know that there were no predators in New Zealand. There are several titbit of information about all the places the four friends visited. Makes me curious. Makes me want to go see and experiece all of them myself.

I found the vending in japan very interesting. I just came to know through this book that New Zealand has no wild animal that could kill humans

The fact that there was a whole line of vending machines in Japan with no one to man them. Like how do people not steal? That wouldn't fly in my country lol even payphones are stolen over here

I have always found the difference between the wildlife in New Zealand and Australia to be fascinating. Although, the two countries are not nearly as close as we imagine looking at them from North America... The Japanese vending machines sound incredible!
