Can't agree enough.

On a personal level, I appreciate the challenge of Rule #3: Go Beyond Your Limits. (Perhaps that's why, so often, they returned with injuries?) LOL
I agree. The rules are exceptional that choosing becomes a problem. Thanks for your input.

They seem kind of contradictory but keeping those in mind while on a travel adventure let you be aware of your own strength and how much more you can go further if you try.
That's right. It's like gauging ones ability to do something.

That was my least favourite rule as it is ridiculous that the idea of wearing pink would be immasculating, as is the idea that feeling pain makes you less of a man

I love that one. So far the narrator seems to be the one wearing the pink bracelet most times.

My favorite rule was ''He Who Whines Loudest Wears the Pink Bracelet.'' too. As I read I kept thinking, well that is a Pink Bracelet comment!

I know, right?! Being a man doesn't mean you are not human or don't have feelings.

I agree. It's like men are meant to keep their pain to themselves   But why?
 I believe its an ego thing or maybe because naturally, a man is supposed to bring solutions to the problems, not to complain about them.
Oooh, I get it now. But it's a dangerous belief, especially to men. Don't you think?!
I agree with you. Sometimes, a little vulnerability is permissible in a man.

I wanna say that “go beyond your limits” is one of my personal favorites, in the book and in my own life. I found it inspirational while reading, but it was also hilarious to see what craziness ensued when the characters, especially the boys, attempted to fulfill this rule, and it usually led to not-so-good outcomes within the story.

I used to play in a soccer team in which the person caught complaining the most was given a baby's dummy to wear around their neck during training. Same principle but maybe without the gender connotations?
