I feel like people just stop falling in love with their partners after marriage. And that's where we all get it wrong. We need to continue falling in love if we don't want the love to reduce after marriage.

Unfortunately love decreases in marriage over the years. That is why love shouldn't be the only criteria to look at when entering into a marriage. Alot of things can make a marriage work and love is not the only thing.

Yes , after marriage the love between the couples gradually decrease as they are occupied by lot of responsibilities. But what make them stand out is how they cope up thier problems and begin to love and support each other again.

It's not just marriage, but feelings reduce after being in a relationship for some time. I think when one starts being in a marriage, the prospective of a new life is exciting. As time goes on, it fades away when the reality of life kicks in. People won't be able to express their feelings in romantic gestures like before and fights become common.

Love should be an everyday thing. You keep building and building but in this world today, it is as if people get tired after 2 to 3 years of marriage.

Of course from the story, the love of couples decreases a lot after marriage and friendship remains to sustain the union. It's evidently demonstrated in the book that's why its one of my best and very realistic. However, the effort both couples take to fuel the love is a critical factor to help them stay in love, outside that, it is common for love to dwindle. In my country, it is called "see finish".

I do feel that it decreases at some point, but I also feel that marriage is not just about love, but about friendship, being able to hold onto that would build a better marriage.

It doesn't have to. Marriage is commitment and it depends on the couple's commitment and determination to rise above all the vagaries of life. It's not easy but it's definitely possible.

People forget that after getting married, there are a lot of changes and responsibilities. From what I see around me, one partner always wants the other to remain the same or accept his or her changes and dreams unconditionally without looking at the outcome of that on their lives as a whole.I may change, and you may change, but there must be a solid ground of understanding, respect, and patience that can grow love and keep it between couples.

I think that after marriage the couples should be more committed cause at that point it goes beyond love and affection, they learn to understand themselves and strike a balance between family, work and maintaining a healthy relationship
