I swear!

There was a lot of swearing in Man Mission. Sometimes the men were downright crude. I imagine that there are some who might find this distasteful, but as I said in my review of the book, I was not at all out off by their rudeness. I felt that it fit in with the overall theme of manliness. None of it seemed forced, as I've sometimes felt was the case in other books.

What do you think about the characters' copious use of profanity?

I loved it, it added enough wit and grit to the characters. I am not offended by swearing at all, on the contrary, I partake quite frequently. Its prominent inclusion, therefore, was a welcome addition for me.

I honestly didn't mind all the swearing. I did notice that there was fair amount going on, but I didn't feel it was excessive nor did it bother my reading experience. But I guess it all depends on the reader.

I had not issues with the profanity or swearing in this book. I have read alot of book with more stronger words. For me the profanity use was comfortable enough for an average reader.

I think profanity can definitely be overdone, but I don't mind it if it fits with the character's personality. If every character finishes all their sentences with swearing, though, it starts to feel really unnecessary.

I don't find their swearing offensive. I believe it is the environment and the company shown in the book. The guys were shown often and those words added power to their words.

it is normal for men to use swear words in their discussion as it makes them feel manly and usually use this means of expressions when they are with themselves. Men easily use these words and in usual cases laugh over it because its just a means of catching fun and expression.

The amount of cursing in this novel didn't bother me. Although I've read books where the characters swear every other line, this felt more authentic.
