And his ability to take care of other responsibilities in his life despite his personal weaknesses earns him a plus. The protagonist course of life as well as his limitations perfectly portray what majority today experience.
I really love how you put this

Daniel. He had the family first, a well-organized guy and an intelligent one too. He gave the perfect advice for our go-with-the-flow protagonist. A great banker a good athlete not as good as Sam but still he won my heart. Believe me, Pamela and Daniel are my favorite couple too.

Most people think it's Daniel but many times I get the feeling Daniel is holding back. I think Alec is the most real and rounded character.

To me Daniel is well-rounded. Of the four men I think he is most manly.

I felt like Daniel was the most well-rounded character. In every situation he kept calm and handled things efficiently.

Eric is a playboy. He wants to party and womanize!. Sam is a good athlete and likes a challenge. Daniel is organized, a good athlete, and seems to go with the flow. Of the four, I think Daniel is the most well-rounded, although I have never known a man that organized! What are your thoughts? Who do you think is the most well-rounded of the four?
I agree. Daniel seems to be the most well-rounded to me.

The reason why it is well-rounded is because the author has obviously spent much time on describing and developing the character. I fully comprehended Daniel as a character. The author did a great job!
I think the author spent some time developing other characters also, but Daniel is just different. He is more mature, calm, cool, and organized. The protagonist is not confident; he can't even pursue what he wants. He is inconsistent. But I like the way his story ends.

No doubt, Daniel is the most well-rounded person in Man Mission but I still would prefer Alec.

I bestow that honor on Sam for his no-nonsense approach to life and his general effectiveness.

Daniel does seem to be the most well-rounded of the group. He is mostly sure of himself, his capabilities and limitations. Personality-wise, he also seems to be the most stable.

The author's development of the characters were great, but the book centred more in the life of the protagonist

I think Daniel is a well-rounded character. There was so much about him that fits well with different personality.
