I agree. I'm not religious either, but I appreciate the Christian bible as literature. Not only do many passages provide apt quotes for specific situations, but writers often use little snippets of words to make terrific book titles, like Agatha Christie's "Through a Glass Darkly."pshaw1414 wrote: ↑08 Jan 2020, 15:33 Personally, I am not religious. But I felt that the author adding both a famous quote and a biblical quote before each mission made the story a bit more personal to him. I wasn't affected or bothered by it a bit. I feel like if one is adamant about not reading biblical passages, they could opt to only read the famous quote above it and receive the same message.

I like the idea of adding Bible verses to a book in this manner. It brings religion into it without incorporating it into the story unnecessarily. However, that might just be my religious side appreciating it. I can understand if there are some people who aren't as happy seeing one religion, and only one religion, being represented like this.diana lowery wrote: ↑06 Jan 2020, 13:00 What is your opinion of the biblical passages quoted at the beginning of each new mission?

Good Point. I enjoyed both of the additions.pshaw1414 wrote: ↑08 Jan 2020, 15:33 Personally, I am not religious.
