I don't think it's outdated at all. I think it was fun refreshing and quite profound in a uniquely nuanced way.

The 'bro culture' in the book is probably a representation of the time period the author lived and was raised in. But then I'm not a guy and I don't entirely know what guys think of 'being a man' in today's time and age.

No way,I don't think is outdated, going to see movies won't really give you the real source in life but the inspiration of man mission does.

Your criticism is well taken, but I didn't even consider it because the characters and plot had me so engrossed, Perhaps outdated, but entertaining and educative.

It had a frat bro vibe to it that was definitely outdated. These were grown men still holding onto a college bro perception of life. Yes 15 man missions were redundant and reckless. But I attributed them to midlife crises at some point.
I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Yolo!

I do not think the Bro culture is outdated. It is one of those things that makes us men.

I don't think it is outdated at all. It is just bulky and long but a wonderful book.

I feel that it is completely alright, with the way everything seems to be going advanced and towards technology, man mission is a book that brought us back to the fun times.
