Least favourite of the men?

In the forums it seems quite common that Daniel was the favourite character of many, but who did you dislike when you read the books? I think all of them were portrayed as very human and each had their own flaws but, personally, I most disliked the protagonist. I felt like Alec grew up a lot (even if he was very childish at the beginning)!

Alec might have grown and I do like that but don't like him still. Sam had his weak moments but still my favorite guy.

I disliked the protagonist too. He had so many issues. I wish he just listened to his heart so many times in the book.

It sounds like the protagonist was very frustrating in this book. Do you think he had potential to be a better person?

In the end, he became a better person, so I guess he had that potential.

I think he does grow throughout the book and by the end he's changed a lot! But there were a few occasions where he seemed to decide between two options and go for the more frustrating one, even in the later chapters.

For my own part, I did not like the protagonist despite the fact he changes towards the end.

Definitely he changed towards the end, but his ever-changing mind and weak decisions made him a non-predictable character at the end for me.

I actually liked the protagonist even if I found him very irritating. Of course Sam was better but I really didn't like Alec the most.

Yes Alec grew up in the end but I still didn't like him. I think that I was hoping to see the protagonist redeem himself before Alec did.

I didn't have any favourites or non favourites. I felt each of them were portrayed as just humans, with their individual strengths and flaws.

I hate Alec 'cause personally, he's the kind of a man I ought to avoid. Men like him are not my type. He's not serious in his life - he's tactless. He's irresponsible and he kinda lack disposition.

I can not say exactly that I disliked someone. But if we are doing a comparison, then the protagonist is the person I least liked. But it does not matter as all the characters came out to be better men.

I found the narrator's fickleness with decisions to be irritating. No other character made me as uneasy as his.

I didn't like Sam at first and then with his bossy attitude, Alec took that cup.
