He was alone and far from family and friends when he fell and broke his ankle, necessitating surgery in Hawaii. That was the lowest I'd ever felt.

I feel the worst would be coming across a lion, that is very dangerous, scary and something that should be unthinkable.

For me the worst situation was his encounter with the lions and when he broke his ankle, that was very terrifying for me.
