She may have been odd, but there's no denying she was very interesting. I was very engaged with her character!

I say, Kane, I first thought that he was going to be Terry's boyfriend or brother. Next, I thought he was going to be Adam's brother that they were looking for. Then I thought he was going to the spy that was going to turn them in. I kept guessing about his place in the book.

Carly's mother, definitely. I like authors that portray strong female characters like her.

I'm down for strong female characters, so I'll pick Dauma as my favorite.

Just finished reading this book and as a whole, I must say that it was such an intriguing book. Many characters sparked my interest throughout the book, although I found Dauma to be the one that I would say was my favorite. Her strength to remain focus on what needed to be taken care of was her number one trait. Many books never showcase the strength of a mother, but I feel as though Dauma's character did just that.

I loved Dauma as a character. She portrays a very strong female in the story. She remained strong and focused on what was to be sone despite her husband being captured

Dauma, no question. The fact that she was one of the most powerful mutants, stayed strong despite having lost her husband, raised her daughter to be a strong woman, AND she was a great female role mode, I knew she was the best character right away, no question.

I was just considerably impressed by Val. Like she had the vibe that was kinda mysterious and intelligent and she just made me believe that she knew things and owned the wisdom that made her know better than her peers

I liked how Adam's character development from the malevolent teenager to a considerate lover..but I found Dauma interesting, she had such an effect on her daughter and said the wisest things..I only feel like we didn't get to know her more, her inspiration, motives etc..

Dauma seems to be the crowd favourite and not surprisingly, she is my favourite character too. The absolute strength she exhibited, physically as well as mentally was quite impressive. Carly would've been my most favourite had she not excused Adam's problematic behaviour so easily. That seemed inconsistent with the way her character was portrayed.

My best character is JoAnn..her quick understanding of what is happening around her son baffled me. It was like she knew something isn't right about the strange feelings her son had for her. More so, she tried to help out in the best way possible.

Vikki grabbed my interest, she was so misunderstood and after all, they pushed her too much considering her situation with her family and her father. :?:
