Too Much Aggressiveness

Post by Cristina Chifane »

Up to a point, I can understand the author's attempt to describe a teenager's rebellious nature as accurately as possible. However, I also have to admit I was put off by the excessive use of vulgar language and Adam's often aggressive and destructive behavior (see his disgust with people in general, including his fellow students and his teachers).

What's your opinion on Adam's language and his overall violent attitude? Are they justifiable?
