My greatest accomplishment is that I raised two daughters that love to read.

In that case, I'm interested, too. I loved Twilight and would definitely enjoy something similar to that!Nicolene75 wrote: ↑05 Apr 2020, 04:02If you loved the Twilight saga, you will definitely enjoy this book!Jbcitygirl wrote: ↑05 Apr 2020, 03:59 I wasn’t sold on this book, but this thread is making me rethink it. I loved the Twilight Saga, and is this similar, I will definitely enjoy this too.

Oh, I definitely agree with you on all your points. And yes, I absolutely loved Opaque because of those exact reasons: more depth and very unpredictable!Danny Pyatt wrote: ↑04 May 2020, 10:47 Yes some definite similarities to the Twilight Saga I fully agree. What I think perhaps differentiates this from Twilight is the character development as the plot goes on, which is something I find really intriguing. This does not happen so much in Twilight, which is more to do with the regular stimuli provided by the twists and turns, which is what makes it more applicable to a slightly younger audience. One thing which is very similar is the gripping nature of the story, you are always on your toes! I thought Twilight was good but I absolutely loved this book! The plot has so much more depth and it is very unpredictable.
I am a reader, not because I don't have a life, but because I choose to have many.
