Personally, the best part of the book for me has to be when Adam and Carly went to Minnesota to go meet with Dauma in Afrax. The dynamic there was completely different and reading about the meetings and Adam learning about his biological family/ancestry seemed to be the most interesting part of the book overall.

My favorite parts were seeing the darkness around Adam like when he was in the shack with Terry and seeing how he avoided other students at school.

It was very interesting to me how Adam avoided other students at school. It made me more curious to watch out for his character until the very end of the novel

My favourite part of the book was the discovery of Afrax. That is when the story gathers speed and many puzzle pieces fall into place.

My favourite part of the book was when it was revealed why he was attracted to JoAnn. I almost stopped after reading the first few pages of the book and took a big sigh of relief, when it was finally revealed that it was just the serum. I certainly did not expect that but was relieved that at least there was no cringy content.

Merging of Dauma with Carly, hands down. I just loved that part. That part showed so much affection and love between a mother and a daughter that goes beyond time, space, life and death. It was such a beautiful concept. I enjoyed it so much.

I loved how Adam's ancestry and his powers are discovered at Afrax. I loved the whole tight plot and the time when Dauma merges with her daughter. I also loved the part where Carly used Dauma's power during the fight but then tries to end everything. It was a very difficult thing she had to endure.
