Once upon a time Santa Claus was busy helping build the wonderful toys,
for all of the little girls and boys.
With his big jolly laugh,
And his long red scarf
Hold on hold on….
Something is wrong,
The elves aren’t singing their happy song.
Then the reindeer started to cry,
And now they have started to fly up into the sky.
Oh deer, oh deer,
What’s going on here?
No one was happy,
They were all sick,
Of making toys for good old saint Nick
They had had it with Saint Nick,
He was making them feel sick
They thought Santa had lost his way,
By making them working 23 hours a day
As far as they were concerned Santa was mean,
Making them work like a machine
By now Santa had figured out,
What all of this fuss was about
“Ahh you’ll see,
Try and bring happiness without me
After all, the children sit on my knee,
And tell me what they want underneath their Christmas tree
And I see who is naughty and nice,
And I even check it twice
Oh yeah that’s right, it’s Santa Claus that everyone knows,
They only know of you Rudolf because of how your nose glows
You elves don’t have proper names,
They’re like little toy games.”
And at the very moment they yelled back,
“Hey Santa, go on leave
We elves and reindeer have tricks up our sleave
You say we are useless and it’s a one man show,
Why don’t you hurry up and go go go
We’re sick of all this talking, yes, we’re sick of all that,”
Said Stevie who popped up in his little green hat
“We hate to be mean,
But working here is obscene,”
“Alright” said Santa Claus “I will go,
You will be sorry you know.”
And with that Santa started to walk,
As he walked elves began to talk
‘Good riddens’ one said,
One made a snow ball hitting Santa in the head.
Saint Nick did not even turn around,
All he did was just frowned.
The elves were excited and filled with surprise,
They didn’t realise that Santa was not telling lies
And soon they found out what Christmas was all about,
With no one to keep them in order, they began to shout.
They couldn’t make toys,
Because there was so much noise
Nor could they communicate with the girls and boys,
So they didn’t find out what they wanted for toys
They eventually ran out of time,
They didn’t finish a single present, not even mine
It seemed like Santa was right,
This plagued the elves late at night
By now it was clear,
The elves needed Santa here
But what they didn’t know was that,
Santa wasn’t the real Santa in fact
He was a man, who did whatever he wanted to do,
Turn Santa’s workshop into a pile of doggy doo
Although the elves didn’t have a clue,
They did exactly what he wanted them to
But where is the real Santa Claus you may ask,
He was kidnapped and he had to put on a mask
Rude Rick was his name,
He had put everyone to shame
You see he was not a good boy like you and me,
He never got presents under his Christmas tree
Just a huge pile of coal,
Which he put in a big hole
As Christmas came near,
All the elves were thinking ‘I wish Santa was here’
But then, it became clear,
Santa was already here
They realised Santa wasn’t mean,
Santa was jolly and never obscene
So they wondered where he’d be,
“Maybe he lost track of time and is under a tree?”
“I’ve found something come here!
Oh my, Santa’s scarf it’s by Dancer the reindeer,”
“Dancer!” they all shouted,
“It’s no help,” Stevie doubted
Just then they heard moaning,
It was the real Santa, he was groaning
“Santa! Help us” they shrieked, Before they even started untying Santa’s feet,
Which were really sore because they badly needed heat
“Who did this to you Santa?” the elves asked,
“The naughtiest kid I know RUDE RICK he kidnapped me then I was masked!”
Santa yelled “We must stop him, and stop him quick,
He is ruining Christmas, that evil Rick!”
“Turn on the machines and turn them on fast,
Let’s make Christmas happen and make it a blast!”
“I’ve got a list to check, and I’ve got to check it twice,
Because as you know I need find out who’s been naughty and nice!”
The elves cheered with glee,
To have the real Saint Nick to deliver presents to you and mee!
All of the sudden the lights went out,
“It’s him, it’s him!” They all began to shout.
“HO HO HO,
It’s Santa don’t you know!”
“Aren’t you all sad I had to go,
I proved you wrong though,”
“Christmas is two days away and you haven’t even made one single present!”
“We know you’re not Saint Nick,
But we know that you are Rude Rick!”
And you know what happened now,
So there’s no point telling you anyhow
Ok, ok I wouldn’t do that I’m not like rude rick, now where was I…..
Santa yelled “Go home Rick you don’t belong here,
I don’t want to see you again you here!”
As the elves rushed to be completed,
They cheered knowing Rude Rick had been defeated.
As Santa loaded up the sleigh,
He thanked the elves for their work each and every day.
When the sleigh took off and the reindeer flew,
Everyone clapped because there was nothing left to do.
All except to,
Deliver present from me to you!!!
