This book is filled with twists (friendship, career, history, romance, Faith and perseverance), It enhanced my enjoyment of it. One should be able to move unto the next, if the former appears to be a hitch. Matt Lavery left his new job to a better one because of the hurdles he passed through. There's a lot happening in this story, but I'm most interested in his time with Karen and Olga and how they helped shape him. I also like the infusion of Cuban culture; I've never read anything from that culture before.
